Recruitment Privacy Policy

This Recruitment Privacy Policy applies to the processing of personal data of job applicants, employees, and former employees by OMNiON PreMedia Private Limited and affiliates (WorkOSE) in connection with the recruitment process. The Policy explains how WorkOSE processes the personal data of Employees and sets out the rights of Employees in relation to their personal data.

This Policy applies to the processing of personal data of Employees by WorkOSE in connection with the recruitment process. It does not apply to the processing of personal data of Employees in the course of their employment with WorkOSE, which is governed by WorkOSE's Employee Privacy Policy.

"Personal data" means any information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that natural person.

Personal data may include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Contact details (such as email address, phone number, and postal address)
  • Educational and professional qualifications

  • Diversity data (such as gender, ethnicity, and disability status)
  • References
  • Any other information provided by the employee in the course of the recruitment process

WorkOSE processes the personal data of Employees for the following purposes:

  • To evaluate the suitability of Employees for employment with WorkOSE
  • To evaluate the suitability of Employees for employment with WorkOSE
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as the requirement to check the eligibility of Employees to work in India
  • To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

WorkOSE processes the personal data of Employees in connection with the recruitment process on the following legal bases:

  • The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with the Employee, or in order to take steps at the request of the Employee prior to entering into a contract
  • The processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which WorkOSE is subject
  • The processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by WorkOSE, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the Employee

WorkOSE may share the personal data of Employees with third parties for the following purposes:

  • With third-party service providers who provide services to WorkOSE, such as background check providers, recruiters, and payroll providers
  • With regulatory or law enforcement agencies, as required by law or to comply with legal obligations
  • In the event that WorkOSE is acquired by or merged with another company, the personal data of Employees may be transferred to the new owner

Access to your personal data is controlled and WorkOSE maintains a comprehensive information security program using administrative, physical, and technical safeguards.

WorkOSE will retain the personal data of Employees for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purpose of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Employees have the following rights in relation to their personal data:

  • The right to access their personal data
  • The right to rectify their personal data if it is inaccurate or incomplete
  • The right to erase their personal data in certain circumstances
  • The right to restrict

WorkOSE may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we decide to make a significant change to this Privacy Policy, we will post a notice of the update on this site. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information.
